IT Specialist

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within IT systems.Set up new user accounts, email configurations, and devices for team members.Install and update software applications, ensuring compatibility and data security.Monitor network traffic to identify and resolve connectivity issues.Configure servers, printers, and peripheral devices for company use.Perform routine maintenance and manage resources to optimize speed and reduce costs while maintaining efficiency.Respond to technical support tickets from employees or departments facing technical difficulties.Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides for reference.Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to recommend improvements.

-BA Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.-5-7 years of demonstrable experience as an IT specialist or in technical support, network administration, or a related role.-Proficiency in operating systems Microsoft Windows and network technologies.-Knowledge of network administration protocols, firewalls, and IT security best practices.-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.-Familiarity with IT help desk systems and ticketing tools.-Relevant professional certifications, like CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).-Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V.-Working knowledge of engineering software and IT systems integration.
