Junior Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities:Perform manual testing to validate functionality and usability of features across platformsDesign, develop, and execute test plans, test cases and check lists for web, mobile, and backend applicationsConduct regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing as part of the release cycleProactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies early in the development processWorking with an extensive onboarding study program to prove existing skills in practice and fill any gaps in specific knowledge that are corresponded to a Junior QA EngineerWorking together with a mentor and a tech lead on the hard and soft skillset to identify the strengths and keep developing them as a part of the individual development planDiving in the powerful QA community.

What we expect from you:At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Manual testing of web/mobile applicationsKnowledge of testing methods and technologies, understanding of formal software development processes (SDLC).Basic understanding of testing strategies.Knowledge about bug-tracking systems and version control systems.Understanding of client-server architecture.Basic API testing experience.SQL basics.English skills at the upper-intermediate or higher levelAbility to switch quickly between tasks.Flexible analytical and algorithmic thinking, desire for self-development, persistence in finding solutions, and achieving goals Will be a plus:Higher education in IT or a related field.Basic programming or scripting skills.Automation experience in Java, Python, or another language.Use of traffic analyzers (Fiddler, WireShark, or others)Foundational understanding of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including their application in automated test generation and defect analysis.Proficiency in Prompt Engineering, specifically for creating test cases, generating synthetic test data, and refining automated scripts.
