Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Lead the development of mechanical design solutions for projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable standards such as ASHRAE.Prepare and review detailed calculations, design reports, and technical documentation in line with best engineering practices and company standards.Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Architectural, Structural, Electrical) to ensure fully integrated and clash-free design deliverables.Manage design timelines and ensure timely submission of all deliverables in accordance with project milestones.Supervise and guide junior engineers and draughtsman, ensuring quality, consistency, and accuracy of design outputs.Review design drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with project requirements and technical standards.Identify design risks, technical challenges, and potential conflicts, and propose effective engineering solutions.Support value engineering initiatives to optimize system performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.Participate in design coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing technical input and addressing design-related queries.Develop and standardize calculation templates and design methodologies under the guidance of senior management.Ensure all mechanical systems are designed in accordance with applicable codes, sustainability requirements, and project-specific criteria.
