Logistics Specialist

Plan and co-ordinate transportation of Shipments and manage the timely flow of orders.Verify customs clearance documents before delivery to customs department with the proper release instructions from the sales department.Coordinate and monitor import shipments from origin until release.

Follow up with suppliers and freight team regarding shipment schedules, booking confirmations and shipping documents.

Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations and NAFEZA/ACID requirements.

Verify and follow shipping documents before the arrival of each shipment.Negotiate the best shipping modes for non-contracted shipments, best payment terms and delivery terms to achieve the company targets.Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, warehousing, finance, and other substantive units.Track vessel schedules, ETAs, transshipment status, and shipment delays.

Coordinate with customs Team, treasury team regarding payments, form-4 and shipping documents.Communicate with internal business units regarding shipment status, clearance progress, and delivery plans.

Handle shipment discrepancies and operational issues with suppliers and logistics partners.

Bachelor Degree in Logistics or Commerce, or BusinessERP SkillsExperience: 1-3 yearsFull Knowledge of International AgreementsGood Communication Skills with suppliersFull Knowledge for Inco Terms & Payment Terms & shipping & customs procedures.Knowledge of importation of Automotive sector and its updates
