Logistics Specialist

Coordinate with suppliers once goods are ready to arrange shipping.Manage shipping activities with carriers and freight forwarders in line with company agreements.Create ACID numbers for shipments and ensure suppliers upload documents on CargoX.Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.Request shipment insurance when required.Submit shipping documents to the customs clearance departmentCoordinate with customs clearance and procurement teams to resolve missing information.Request payments for suppliers and shipping companiesTrack shipments until successful delivery to the warehouse.Escalate any issues related to goods to the procurement team.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;

Logistics is preferred2+ years of experience in Logistics / Shipping.

Good command of English.Knowledge of and experience with international shipping, bookings, documentation and transportation functions.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to juggle multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability and willingness to take initiatives.
