We are currently looking for a practical and motivated Sales & Marketing Manager who can help build the sales and marketing structure from the beginning.This is not a large corporate role with a big department.
The person needs to be hands-on, independent, creative, organized, and able to take responsibility for daily marketing, sales follow-up, communication, and reporting.The role will focus mainly on two business areas:Booking and marketing of rooms and apartmentsSales and marketing of a baby feeding product for international markets
Main ResponsibilitiesGeneral Sales & Marketing ManagementThe Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping Northlight create and manage basic sales and marketing activities, including:Creating simple and realistic sales and marketing strategies.Managing social media pages and online presence.Planning and posting content on social media.Contacting potential clients, partners, distributors, agencies, and customers.Following up with leads and interested contacts.Supporting customer communication and relationship management.Creating basic marketing material using tools such as Canva and AI tools.Editing simple photos, videos, posts, presentations, and product material.Using AI tools to improve content, sales messages, customer communication, and marketing planning.Managing daily and weekly sales and marketing tasks.Preparing daily or weekly progress reports.Helping organize contacts, leads, client lists, and follow-up systems.Supporting recruitment of freelancers, assistants, content creators, or sales agents when needed.Supervising external helpers or freelancers if the company works with them.Helping build simple systems and routines for sales, marketing, and reporting.Part 1: Booking, Rooms & ApartmentsFor the room and apartment booking side, the Sales & Marketing Manager will help with:Marketing rooms and apartments online.Creating attractive descriptions for listings.Improving photos, posts, and presentation of the properties.Managing social media content related to rentals, rooms, apartments, and short-term stays.Contacting potential guests, companies, agencies, relocation contacts, travel groups, and booking partners.Helping improve booking platforms and online listings.Following up with inquiries and potential guests.Supporting communication before, during, and after bookings.Helping create offers, packages, and promotions.Keeping track of booking interest, leads, occupancy, and customer feedback.Suggesting ways to increase bookings and visibility.Supporting basic customer service and guest experience when needed.Part 2: Baby Feeding Product – Sales & MarketingFor the baby feeding product, the Sales & Marketing Manager will support international sales and marketing activities, including:Creating a simple launch and marketing strategy for the product.Identifying potential markets, distributors, shops, baby stores, pharmacies, online retailers, and partners.Contacting potential distributors and business partners.Following up with interested companies and buyers.Preparing simple product presentations, sales messages, and product descriptions.Supporting social media marketing for parents, families, and baby product audiences.Helping create photo, video, and educational content about the product.Managing product communication in a professional and clear way.Supporting international outreach by email, LinkedIn, social media, and other channels.Researching competitors, similar products, and market opportunities.Helping prepare samples, product information, and sales material for potential distributors.Tracking sales leads and reporting progress weekly.Helping adapt content for different languages and markets.ReportingThe Sales & Marketing Manager will be expected to provide:Daily updates when active work is being done.Weekly summary reports.List of contacted clients, partners, or distributors.Follow-up status for each lead.Suggestions for improvements.
Overview of marketing posts, campaigns, and results.Clear communication about challenges, progress, and next steps.Example Weekly TasksCreate and schedule social media posts.Contact potential booking partners or rental clients.Contact potential baby product distributors.Follow up with previous leads.Update lead/contact lists.Prepare simple marketing material.Review online listings and suggest improvements.Create content using Canva and AI tools.Prepare a short weekly report with results and next steps.
