Mattress Factory Manager

Job Description:Factory Manager (Bedding, Mattresses, Felt, and Pillows)Job Purpose:To lead and manage all operational and production processes in the factory to ensure the achievement of production, quality, and operational efficiency targets, while improving performance, reducing costs, and adhering to safety and quality standards, thereby achieving customer satisfaction and the company's sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:Oversee all factory departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehousing, and Planning).Prepare and implement daily, monthly, and annual production plans in line with company objectives.Manage the manufacturing processes for bedding, mattresses, and felt according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Develop and improve production lines to increase productivity and reduce waste and losses.Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze production results, and take corrective action.Implement quality systems and standard manufacturing procedures, and comply with occupational health and safety requirements.Manage work teams, delegate tasks, evaluate performance, and develop employee skills.Coordinate with the purchasing, sales, and supply chain departments to ensure the availability of raw materials and the fulfillment of delivery plans.Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and machinery.Preparing and submitting operational and financial reports to senior management, along with necessary recommendations.Managing operating costs and working to improve profitability and resource utilization efficiency.Leading continuous improvement and development projects and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles as needed.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field*Professional certifications in Quality Management, Production, or Manufacturing are preferred*Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in managing mattress, bedding, and felt manufacturing plants, or similar industries.Extensive experience in managing production lines for foam mattresses, spring mattresses, felt, and bedding of all types.Proven track record of improving productivity, reducing costs, and raising quality standards.Required Skills:Highly effective leadership and management of work teams.Experience in production planning and industrial operations management.Ability to analyze data and make operational decisions.Advanced knowledge of quality systems, risk management, and occupational safety.Strong problem-solving and time management skills.Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Authorities:Manage all operational processes within the factory.Approve daily and weekly production plans.Evaluate employee performance and submit recommendations regarding recruitment, development, or administrative procedures.Apply corrective actions related to production, quality, and maintenance within the delegated authority.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achieve the production plan at least at the target level.Reduce waste and loss of raw materials.Increase production efficiency and minimize downtime.Adhere to order delivery schedules.Achieve quality targets and minimize returns.Improve resource utilization efficiency and reduce operating costs.
