Mechanical Design Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks, mechanical design, and fabrication processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies, preparing manufacturing drawings, and supporting fabrication and production activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreate 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorksDesign mechanical systems, sheet metal parts, welded structures, and fabricated assembliesDevelop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentationCoordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure design manufacturabilityReview and improve existing product designs for performance, cost, and manufacturabilityPerform design calculations and tolerance analysisSupport prototype development, testing, and modifications

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field2–5 years of experience in mechanical design and fabricationProficiency in SolidWorksExperience with sheet metal, machining, welding, and fabrication processesAbility to read and create technical drawings and GD&TFamiliarity with manufacturing methods and materials
