Mechanical Design Engineer

Development and design of mechanical and electromechanical parts and control elements in Automotive interior designCreation of CAD models and drawings (e.g., using Catia V5)Performing basic engineering calculations (strength, tolerances)Selection of suitable materials (metals, plastics)Supporting optimization of series products (quality, cost, assembly)Execution of defined work packages from the German development teamDocumentation of results in English for the central development department

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (or equivalent technical education)Previous Experience in the Automotive industry is a Must Initial work experience or internships in mechanical design/product development with plastic materialProficiency in 3D CAD software (Catia V5 preferred, alternatives like Creo, NX, SolidWorks accepted)Basic knowledge of engineering calculations and material science (special for plastic material)Very good English skillsWillingness to closely collaborate with international teams (remote coordination from Germany)Accuracy and reliability in documentation and reporting
