Mechanical Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our technical team.

This role is ideal for a fresh graduate who has already gained hands-on internship or project experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the continuous operation, safety, and efficiency of our mechanical systems and machinery.

Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance: Assist in executing daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, compressors, conveyors, and HVAC systems).Troubleshooting & Repairs: Help diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.Installation & Commissioning: Support the team in installing, testing, and commissioning new mechanical machinery.Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, and spare parts consumption.Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to occupational health and safety (OHSA) guidelines and company safety protocols.Spare Parts Management: Monitor the inventory of mechanical spare parts and report shortages to the supervisor.

Job Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Mechatronics Engineering).Experience: Fresh graduate with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience (gained through graduation projects, intensive training programs, or field internships in factories/plants).Technical Skills:Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and blueprints (P&IDs, AutoCAD).Basic knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic industrial environment.Language: Very good command of English (spoken and written).
