Mechanical Engineer (Heavy Trucking)

Perform technical diagnosis of engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, cooling, and air systems on Trucks Determine severity of mechanical problems (Low/Med/High) and recommend repair priority.

Identify recurring maintenance problems by truck model, year, and site.

Validate visual findings from the Technical Admin.

Coordinate with site maintenance teams to verify past repair history and compare with current findings.

Inspect safety-critical components (brakes, steering, tires, lights) and flag any immediate hazards Train the Technical Admin on basic truck part identification to improve visual inspection accuracy.

Bachelor Degree Of Mechanical Engineering / Automotive3 years in vehicle maintenance or mechanical inspection (heavy trucks must)Familiarity with Volvo truck systems.Basic Excel for logging findings
