Mechanical Facility Engineer

Operations & MaintenanceMonitor and maintain mechanical systems including HVAC units, chillers, pumps, plumbing networks, fire fighting systems, and ventilation equipment.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical equipment.Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.Perform regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently.Coordinate with technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.Facility Management SupportEnsure continuous operation of building mechanical services.Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and emergency issues.Support energy-saving initiatives and recommend operational improvements.Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Safety, and other teams for integrated facility operations.Safety & ComplianceEnsure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with safety regulations and company standards.Conduct routine safety inspections and identify potential risks.Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and HSE requirements.Report incidents and recommend corrective actions when needed.Documentation & ReportingMaintain maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports.Update technical drawings and records when system changes occur.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.3 to 7 years of experience in Facility Management, Building Maintenance, or related field.Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and fire fighting systems.Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning.Good command of English is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Skills & CompetenciesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.Good communication and teamwork skills.Attention to detail and commitment to safety.Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred QualificationsExperience in commercial buildings, compounds, malls, hospitals, or corporate facilities.Knowledge of BMS systems is a plus.OSHA / Safety certification is an advantage.
