Network And Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Network Security Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing network infrastructure, maintaining security solutions, troubleshooting complex network issues, and supporting incident response activities.

This role requires strong technical expertise in networking and cybersecurity, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, manage, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and related technologies.Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.Monitor network and security infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and protection against threats.Perform vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and remediation activities.Investigate security alerts and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.Implement and maintain network segmentation, access controls, and security best practices.Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, switching, and VPN-related issues.Collaborate with infrastructure and system teams to enhance overall security posture.Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering roles.Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto firewalls.Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and network architecture.Solid understanding of routing and switching concepts, including OSPF and BGP.Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and security monitoring tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing remediation plans.Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and security best practices.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
