Pharmacist

Job Summary:The Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions, dispensing medications accurately, ensuring patient safety, and supporting clinical teams according to hospital policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:Medication ManagementReview prescriptions for accuracy and appropriatenessDispense medications safely and efficientlyEnsure correct dosage, route, and frequencyMonitor drug availability and stock levelsPatient Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with hospital policies and MOH regulationsIdentify potential drug interactions and contraindicationsReport medication errors when applicablePatient Counseling (especially Outpatient)Educate patients on medication useExplain dosage instructions and possible side effectsImprove medication adherenceInventory & DocumentationMaintain accurate medication recordsMonitor expiry dates and storage conditionsSupport stock control processesOperational DutiesWork effectively within rotational shiftsCoordinate with medical and administrative teamsFollow infection control and safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in PharmacyValid professional license1–2 years of hospital experience preferredStrong clinical knowledgeGood communication skillsAbility to work rotational shifts
