Physical Education Teacher

Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of Physical Education to join our school and be part of a thriving department.

We are looking to recruit a teacher who will be able to co-teach with other members of the department and someone who is also willing to take on certain groups individually to assist with the overall departmental coaching programme.Teaching responsibilities:Be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in PEMake an impact on the experience young people receive through PE and sportEnsure lessons are planned in accordance with departmental scheme of workAssess, record, report on progress / attainment of pupilsPriorities and manage time effectively, ensuring continued professional developmentin-line with the roleContribute to a full and extensive extracurricular programmeManage, coach and officiate sport teamsTeach according to pupils’ educational needsHave a clear vision / focusBe passionate about the subject and communicate well with young peopleMaintain discipline in accordance with school proceduresEnsure a high quality learning environment

Flexible and adaptable to different learning situations and teaching styles.Fluent English.Minimum 4 years of experience in working with students in the relevant age group.Experience with the British education system is preferred.
