Plant Manager – Alkyd Resin Factory

The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading the overall operations of the Alkyd Resin factory, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production of high-quality resin products.

The role includes managing production plans, reactor operations, process performance, quality consistency, cost control, maintenance coordination, and delivery commitments.

The Plant Manager will work closely with Production, QC, QA, R&D, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure smooth operations, reliable product quality, reduced losses, and on-time delivery to customers.

The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, troubleshooting, and new product scale-up from development to industrial production.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related field.10–20 years of experience in resin, alkyd resin, coatings raw materials, or chemical manufacturing.Strong hands-on experience in Alkyd Resin production and batch reactor operations.Solid knowledge of process control parameters such as viscosity, acid value, color, solid content, reaction time, temperature, vacuum, filtration, and solvent handling.Previous experience in plant management, production management, or leading manufacturing teams.Good understanding of QC/QA procedures, HSE standards, maintenance coordination, and production planning.Ability to reduce production losses, downtime, rework, and cost per ton.Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, communication, and decision-making skills.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems, OPEX, and CAPEX is preferred.Ability to coordinate effectively with Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, and other departments to meet customer and business requirements.
