PLC & Automation Head

Lead and supervise the PLC & Automation team (engineers & technicians).

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.

Develop team capabilities through training and coaching.Design, develop, and modify PLC programs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).Manage SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication systems.Ensure system integration between different automation platforms.Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for automation systems.Diagnose and resolve electrical and PLC-related faults efficiently.Ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery of production lines.Lead automation projects (installation, upgrades, retrofits).Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.Implement energy-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives.Ensure all electrical and automation systems comply with safety standards.Maintain documentation for PLC programs, electrical drawings, and SOPs.Enforce adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with production, maintenance, and IT teams.Prepare reports on system performance, downtime, and improvements.Manage vendors and external contractors when required.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering.Additional certifications in PLC/SCADA systems are a plus.10 –12 years of experience in industrial automation.Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
