Pre Sales Engineer

Review and analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and tender documents.Prepare and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements.Perform proper sizing of automation and control systems.Select the most suitable components and products based on technical requirements.Prepare BOM in line with client specifications.Conduct technical evaluation and selection of automation and instrumentation systems.Coordinate with internal engineering and procurement teams for accurate costing and solutions.Handle client clarifications and ensure full compliance with technical requirements.Support the sales team during technical discussions and pre-bid meetings.Maintain clear, professional communication, including formal client correspondence.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).2–4 years of experience in automation and instrumentation presales or a similar role.Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation systems.Proven experience in tendering, BOQ/BOM preparation, and RFQ responses.Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and datasheets.Strong communication, coordination, and professional email writing skills.Proficiency in Siemens tools and Microsoft Office.
