Production Engineer

Production OperationsPerform manual and machine-assisted production activities such as:Coil winding on winding machines for CT/PT coresResin casting and mold preparationMechanical and electrical assembly of switchgear and transformer componentsSheet metal fabrication and drillingMIG/TIG welding and brazing of copper and mild steel partsMachining and cutting operations using standard shop toolsFollow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and assembly drawingsQuality & Process ComplianceInspect work at key stages and ensure conformance to specifications and tolerances.Identify and report non-conforming materials or product defects to supervisor.Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of workstations in compliance with 5S and workplace safety standards.Equipment Handling & MaintenanceOperate and care for assigned machines, tools, and fixtures responsibly.Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and machines as instructed.Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.Safety & Workplace ConductStrictly follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to electrical safety, mechanical safety, and chemical handling procedures.Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and quality school topics as required.Participating effectively in Activity Based Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification in over all Production Line and Factory FacilityContinuous ImprovementSuggest process or ergonomic improvements to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.Participate in training and upskilling programs to increase versatility and competence.

1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing (Electric Power Products / Automotive Industry)Technical diploma and certified training in electrical/mechanical fieldsExperience with transformers, switchgear, or electrical panel production is a strong plusProficient in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments and workplace machinery.Good understanding of mechanical drawings and wiring diagramsGood physical and mental health condition with good attention to detailsTeamwork and willing to learnDiscipline and PunctualityProblem reporting and communication skillsGood Knowledge of English Language.
