Production Engineer

Job DescriptionJob Purpose:Assure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently.

They work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Receive the production plan monthly from the planning department and set relevant production workflowReceive the shop drawing and communicate / lead manufacturing processes with supervisorsReceives the weakly machine loading plan and the approved designs and sketches to start the production processRequest materials from inventory according to job order specsAssure the implementation of the production according to the process of the workflowFollow up achievement of quality standards and resolve any observations from quality teamPrepare a daily production report to be approved by the production manager to be sent to the production planning departmentTroubleshoot any production issues and resolve with concerned teamAlign with projects, planning and quality team the progress of production plansProvide technical assistance to production supervisors and technicians as and when required.Check the machines checklist to assure that the working conditions are safe.Ensure that staff are compliant with safety regulationsMaintain efficient production logs in compliance with applied management system

Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).1-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control systems.Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.Commitment to workplace safety and continuous professional development.
