As a Production Engineering Intern at Stitch Trade, you will get a front-row seat to the complex world of textile manufacturing.
You will work alongside our senior shift engineers to monitor production lines, optimize efficiency, and learn how to maintain high-quality standards in a high-output environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Monitoring: Assist in tracking hourly and daily production targets to ensure the factory meets its output goals.Efficiency Analysis: Help identify bottlenecks on the production line and suggest improvements to enhance workflow.Waste Management: Monitor raw material consumption and assist in implementing strategies to reduce "halk" (waste).Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure products meet specifications and learn how to troubleshoot defects.Technical Reporting: Assist in preparing daily production logs and performance reports using digital tools.Safety Compliance: Learn and promote workplace safety standards and ensure all equipment is used according to safety protocols.
RequirementsEducation: Current students (3rd or 4th year) or recent graduates in Production, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for technical details.Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is essential.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both factory workers and management.Commitment: Ability to work on-site in Alexandria and adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
