Job SummaryElite Food is seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in pasta manufacturing and packaging operations.
The role will be responsible for managing the complete production process, from raw material preparation and pasta processing through drying, packing, and finished product output, while ensuring productivity, quality, food safety, and cost-efficiency targets are achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee daily pasta production operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.Supervise the full production cycle, including raw material handling, mixing, extrusion, drying, cooling, and packaging.Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on business requirements.Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, efficiency, and delivery timelines.Monitor pasta production parameters and coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams to maintain product consistency.Oversee packing and packaging operations, including automatic packing machines and packaging lines.Ensure correct packaging materials, weights, sealing, coding, labeling, and finished product standards.Monitor machine performance, downtime, production losses, waste, and overall line efficiency.Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce waste.Lead and manage Production Supervisors, Packing Supervisors, Machine Operators, and production workers.Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Planning teams.Ensure full compliance with GMP, HACCP, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards.Participate in production planning, manpower allocation, shift scheduling, and resource utilization.Prepare and review production reports and operational KPIs.Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and packaging processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing.Direct hands-on experience in pasta manufacturing is a must.Strong knowledge of pasta production lines and manufacturing processes.Proven experience in packing and packaging operations is required.Previous experience supervising or managing automatic packaging machines and packing lines.Strong understanding of production planning, efficiency, waste control, and downtime reduction.Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
