Purchasing Specialist (Automotive Spare Parts)

As a Purchasing Specialist at Vinzone, you are responsible for the heartbeat of our supply chain.

Your goal is to ensure we source high-quality automotive spare parts (Local & International) at the best possible prices, ensuring our Sales team can offer competitive quotes to our customer.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Sourcing & ProcurementIdentify and source required spare parts (New, OEM, Aftermarket, or Imported) based on requests from the Sales team.Manage local sourcing for immediate needs and international procurement for specialized or bulk orders.Validate part compatibility and technical specifications to ensure 100% accuracy before purchase.

2.

Negotiation & Sourcing StrategyMaintain a database of local and international suppliers to compare pricing and lead times.Negotiate terms, volume discounts, and shipping costs to maximize company margins.Ensure the availability of "fast-moving" items to reduce customer wait times.

3.

Order Management (Odoo/ERP)Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within Odoo.Follow up on shipment statuses, customs clearance, and delivery timelines.Coordinate with the Inventory/Warehouse team to ensure items are received, inspected (including video verification for imports), and logged correctly.

4.

Cross-Functional CoordinationProvide the Sales/Customer Success team with accurate pricing and delivery estimates (Lead Times).Work with Accounting to ensure supplier invoices are verified and paid on time.

RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience specifically in Automotive Spare Parts purchasing (Essential).Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of OEM vs.

Aftermarket brands and VIN-based part identification.Skills: Exceptional negotiation and supplier relationship management.Software: Proficiency in Excel and experience using an ERP system (Odoo experience is a major plus).Communication: Strong verbal and written English;

Arabic is a plus.Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
