QA/QC Engineer (Civil / Architectural)

Quality Control & Inspection

• Monitor and inspect civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Verify that all work activities are performed according to approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications and material submittals.
• Review and approve material inspection requests (MIRs) and work inspection requests (WIRs) before consultant inspections.
• Identify non-conforming works and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and quality procedures.
• Ensure all quality documentation is properly maintained and updated.
• Assist in preparing handover dossiers and project close-out documents.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project management teams regarding quality-related matters.
• Attend consultant inspections and quality meetings.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding quality requirements and workmanship standards.
• Support project teams in resolving quality issues and implementing improvements.

Testing & Handover

• Witness field tests and inspections as required.
• Verify completion of snagging and de-snagging activities.
• Participate in final inspections and project handover processes.
• Ensure all quality-related punch list items are closed before project completion.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC, site supervision, or construction quality management.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, hospitality, residential, or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishing works, and quality standards
