Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor Engineer, you will be instrumental in the financial planning and management of our diverse construction projects.
Working on-site, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, contributing directly to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents with utmost accuracy.Conduct comprehensive cost estimations and value engineering to optimize project expenses.Perform meticulous analysis of bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.Assist in contract administration, including change order management and payment certificates.Undertake site measurements and reconcile quantities with project designs.Prepare regular financial reports and progress claims, ensuring transparency and accountability.Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.
Skills & Technologies: You will leverage your expertise in AutoCAD for design interpretation, your strong foundation in Civil Engineering principles, and your proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and cost control.
Experience with Quantity Surveying methodologies, Cost Estimation, and an understanding of Construction Law are key.

Educational Excellence: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.Experience & Expertise: Bring 2-4 years of progressive experience in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction engineering role.Core Competencies:Demonstrable proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing interpretation and verification.Solid understanding of Civil Engineering fundamentals and construction processes.Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation for various construction projects.Familiarity with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and tender analysis.Basic knowledge of Contract Administration and relevant construction legislation (Construction Law).Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.Exceptional Communication Skills and a keen eye for detail.Strong Problem Solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.Capability in Data Analysis and Project Cost Control.Career Level: This is an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level professional ready to take on significant responsibilities and grow within our dynamic organization.
