Quality Assurance Head

Develop and implement the company Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001.Lead the quality strategy across the plant to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and food-grade recycling requirements.Establish and monitor quality control processes covering the full production cycle from raw material receiving (bales) to finished product release.Ensure effective implementation of quality tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and in-process inspection systems to minimize process variation.Monitor production performance and product quality indicators, ensuring adherence to product specifications and continuous improvement.Manage supplier quality and ensure incoming raw materials meet required standards through inspection, testing, and supplier collaboration.Lead root cause investigations for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using analytical and statistical methods.Ensure all laboratory and inspection equipment are calibrated, maintained, and capable of delivering accurate measurements.Lead and develop the quality team, ensuring adequate training, coaching, and performance management to meet departmental goals.Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Technical teams to resolve quality issues that may impact production efficiency.Support customer requirements and technical inquiries related to product quality, testing, and compliance.Ensure full traceability of materials and finished products in accordance with food safety and regulatory requirements.Monitor customer complaints, internal non-conformities, and audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.Prepare quality performance reports and dashboards for senior management highlighting risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.Support internal and external audits including certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and customer audits.

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.5–7 years of experience in manufacturing quality roles.Experience in plastics, recycling, or FMCG manufacturing is highly preferred.Lean Six Sigma certification.
