Quality Control Inspector (Petroleum services)

Our expertise includes OCTG Services, API & Premium Connection Rethreading, Machine Shop Manufacturing, Repair, Bucking Operations, Welding, Hard banding, and related workshop and field services.This position is site-based and requires working on a 3 week on/1 week off rotation at the company's operational sites (Alex or Matrouh)Job PurposeWe are seeking a qualified QC Inspector to perform inspection and testing activities during manufacturing, machining, repair, and refurbishment operations.

The successful candidate will ensure that all products comply with customer specifications, company procedures, API standards, and applicable quality requirements before release.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspection ActivitiesPerform in-process, final, and receiving inspections in accordance with approved procedures.Inspect machined components, threads, and finished products to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments.Witness and document inspection and testing activities as required.Quality ControlIdentify and report non-conforming products (NCRs).Ensure compliance with API standards, customer specifications, and company quality procedures.Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.Support investigations of quality issues and corrective actions.DocumentationPrepare and maintain inspection reports.Complete quality records accurately and on time.Maintain product traceability and inspection status identification.Safety & ComplianceFollow all HSE requirements and safe working practices.Ensure inspection activities comply with company policies and procedures

Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QC Inspector, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Petroleum Services industry.Good knowledge of API standards, engineering drawings, and inspection techniques.Experience using precision measuring instruments.Good communication and reporting skills.Experience in Thread Inspection, Welding Inspection, OCTG Inspection, or Premium Connections is highly preferred.Good command of English.Willingness to work at workshop facilities and field locations.
