School Academic Principal

Gamma International College in is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and experienced Academic Principal to lead the academic operations of the school and ensure the successful implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and standards.The Academic Principal will be responsible for providing strategic academic leadership, maintaining high educational standards, supporting teachers’ professional growth, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with proven experience in international schools and a deep understanding of IB frameworks and practices.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).Educational Leadership qualification or certification is an advantage.Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in education, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within an international school.Strong knowledge of IB standards, practices, and curriculum frameworks.Experience with accreditation and school evaluation processes.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to lead multicultural teams and work in a diverse international environment.Excellent command of English (spoken and written).Proficient in educational technology and school management systems.Strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and student well-being practices.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred qualifications:IB Leadership workshops or IB certification.Previous experience in an IB World School.Experience in curriculum development and academic improvement planning.Experience in teacher training and professional development.Familiarity with Egyptian educational regulations for international schools.
