About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Cairo.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations and ERP systems (preferably SAP), with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
Previous experience in auditing or tax offices is highly valued.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and verify the accuracy of financial documents and ensure all financial records comply with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Record and maintain financial transactions in the general ledger, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank transactions.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and financial reporting.Handle E-invoicing processes and stay up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and updates.Prepare and file all necessary tax declarations, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and other statutory filings through the official tax portal.Maintain proper organization and filing of accounting and financial documentation.Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for daily accounting operations and reporting.
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.Previous experience in an auditing or tax firm is a strong advantage.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems – SAP experience preferred.Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
