Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee our accounts payable team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable within the FMCG industry.

This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage the accounts payable team.Oversee the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions.Develop and implement accounts payable procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.Review and approve payment runs.Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and expense reports.Manage vendor relationships and address any payment issues.Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.Train and mentor junior accounts payable staff.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Experience in the FMCG industry is preferredStrong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Proficiency in Oracle is required.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
