About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our engineering team.

In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable backend services while collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.Build secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful APIs.Design and optimize relational databases and data models.Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.Review code and contribute to engineering best practices.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule.Continuously improve system performance, security, and scalability.

Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Experience with Redis and caching strategies.Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or Kafka.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Experience with microservices or distributed systems.3+ years of professional backend development experience.Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.Solid understanding of REST API design and backend architecture.Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.Experience with Prisma, TypeORM, or similar ORM.Good understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good written and spoken English communication skills.
