Senior BIM Technical Engineer

UA+ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Technical Engineer to lead BIM production and coordination across interior design and fit-out projects.

This role is essential in delivering accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready models and drawings.The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging design intent with execution, ensuring all outputs are aligned with project requirements, authority standards, and site conditions.BIM Modeling & DocumentationDevelop and manage detailed BIM models (LOD 300–500)Prepare comprehensive shop drawing packages, including:General arrangement layoutsPartition layoutsReflected ceiling plans (RCP)Flooring layoutsDetailed sections and joinery detailsProduce accurate as-built drawings based on site conditionsEnsure all drawings are coordinated, buildable, and compliant with project standardsBIM Collaboration & Data ManagementManage project models and documentation using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)Maintain structured folder systems and file naming conventionsEnsure proper version control and publishing workflowsCoordinate cloud-based collaboration between multiple disciplinesEnsure teams are working on the latest approved models and drawingsCoordination & Clash DetectionPerform clash detection and coordination reviewsCoordinate with architectural, MEP, and structural teamsIdentify, report, and resolve clashes with practical solutionsParticipate in and lead coordination meetings when requiredTechnical Detailing & Site SupportTranslate design concepts into detailed, construction-ready drawingsSupport site teams with technical clarifications and drawing updatesCoordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and joinery teamsAssist in quantity take-offs and material extraction from BIM modelsRespond to RFIs and site queries in a timely mannerStandards & Quality ControlDevelop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and familiesReview and validate drawings produced by junior team membersEnsure compliance with UAE authority requirements and company standardsMaintain consistency in documentation across all projectsLeadership & Team DevelopmentMentor and support junior BIM drafters and modelersProvide training on BIM tools, workflows, and best practicesPromote efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team

ExperienceMinimum 4–8 years of experience in BIM draftingProven experience in interior design and fit-out projectsStrong experience working in the UAE marketAbility to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneouslyTechnical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk RevitStrong working knowledge of AutoCADExperience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)Experience in clash detection workflowsStrong detailing capabilities, especially in joinery and fit-out elementsKnowledge & CompetenciesStrong understanding of shop drawing production and IFC packagesFamiliarity with fit-out construction methodologies and materials in GCCKnowledge of BIM standards and levels of development (LOD)
