Senior Civil Draughtsman "DraftsMan"

Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed construction drawings.Develop drawings based on engineers' calculations, specifications, and project requirements.Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, and relevant codes.Review drawings before submission to minimize errors and ensure quality.Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.Assist engineers in quantity take-offs from drawings when required.Participate in design coordination meetings and provide drafting support.Supervise and mentor junior draughtsmen.Ensure timely delivery of drawings according to project schedules.Update drawings to reflect site changes and prepare as-built documentation.Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical teams to resolve drawing conflicts.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.7–10 years of experience as a Civil Draughtsman, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or mega projects.Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit is (Mandatory).Experience preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details.Experience in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, water networks, sewerage, or bridges).Experience working with major contractors or engineering consultants.Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, standards, and construction methods.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Knowledge of international codes and standards is a plus.Familiarity with document control procedures and revision management.
