Lead the full lifecycle of contracts management, from drafting and negotiation to administration and close-out, ensuring all agreements align with project objectives and legal requirements.Proactively identify, analyze, and manage potential claims and disputes, developing robust strategies for resolution and protecting company interests.Collaborate closely with project teams, legal advisors, and clients to ensure clear communication and effective execution of contractual obligations.Conduct thorough risk assessments related to contracts and claims, implementing mitigation plans to safeguard project timelines and budgets.Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters to project managers and senior leadership.Develop and implement best practices in contracts and claims management within the construction sector.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.7–10 years of experience in Contracts Administration, Claims Management, or Commercial Management within the construction industry.Proven experience working on large-scale Construction, Infrastructure, or MEP projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts (Red Book, Yellow Book, etc.) and other standard forms of contract.Solid understanding of contract administration, change orders, variations, extension of time (EOT), delay analysis, and claims preparation.Experience in preparing, evaluating, negotiating, and defending contractual claims.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and contract/document management systems.Professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, CCM, or FIDIC Certification are considered a strong advantage.
