  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
  • Manage server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and related services.
  • Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Apply operating system patches, security updates, and configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure service continuity.
  • Design, configure, manage, and secure LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Implement and maintain secure network segmentation and access controls.
  • Configure and manage VPNs and secure remote access.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and security-related issues.
  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions.
  • Develop and manage firewall policies, access rules, NAT, and traffic filtering.
  • Configure intrusion prevention and detection features where supported.
  • Review firewall rules regularly and remove unnecessary or risky access.
  • Implement secure network zones and control traffic between internal networks, external networks, and internet-facing services.
  • Monitor firewall logs and investigate suspicious network activity.
  • Apply security hardening standards to servers, network devices, and infrastructure components.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
  • Manage endpoint protection and server security solutions.
  • Implement identity and access management controls, MFA, and privileged access restrictions.
  • Investigate security incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Maintain secure configurations and ensure timely application of security patches.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, security events, and system logs.
  • Maintain infrastructure diagrams, firewall rules documentation, server inventories, and configuration records.
  • Develop and maintain IT infrastructure and network security policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with software development and application teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
  • Assess infrastructure-related risks and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support security audits and compliance requirements where applicable.

المتطلبات والشروط

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, and network engineering, with substantial responsibility for security.
  • Strong practical experience administering Linux and Windows environments.
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs.
  • Proven experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls.
  • Experience with server hardening, vulnerability management, patch management, and access control.
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex server, network, and infrastructure security issues independently.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Microsoft certifications, or security certifications such as Security+.
  • Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM solutions, and centralized log monitoring.
  • Experience securing cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks and ISO 27001.
