- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on PVC extrusion lines, including but not limited to extruders, dies, cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for PVC extrusion machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out components as per manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with purchasing department for sourcing spare parts and components required for repairs and upgrades.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades on PVC extrusion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Provide training and technical support to maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to address technical issues and drive process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in PVC extrusion or similar manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PVC extrusion processes, equipment, and materials.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
