Wastewater & Pumping StationsJob Location : Bahrain ,Sitra.

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in wastewater treatment plants and sewerage pumping stations.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, along with solid project management capabilities in maintenance and asset reliability.

Technical Expertise:Strong experience with mechanical systems including:Aeration systemsMixers and screensGrit removal equipmentSludge handling systemsConveyors, valves, gates, and penstocksOdor control systemsIn-depth knowledge of international standards such as AWWA, ISO, ASME, and Hydraulic Institute standards.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in wastewater treatment plants and sewerage pumping stations.Proven experience in operation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning.Software Skills:AutoCADPump selection software (e.g., HOP.Sel 6.0 or equivalent)Microsoft Office SuiteCore Competencies:Strong project management and coordination skillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesEffective communication skills in English (written and spoken);

Arabic is a plusStrong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) practices
