Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

• ExternalOverall, Job Purpose: Infrastructure & Communication Senior Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and communication systems.

This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of network, server, storage, and communication solutions to support business operations effectively.Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems.Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, capacity, and securityNetwork & Communication SystemsManage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.Oversee communication and collaboration tools (VoIP, email systems, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.).Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protectionCloud & VirtualizationSupport cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and hybrid infrastructure models.Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performanceSecurity & Compliance· Implement and maintain security policies, identity management, and access controls.· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).· Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.Incident Management & Support·Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex infrastructure and communication issues.·Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve incidents and prevent future occurrences.· Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and technical guides.

Qualifications

• ExternalSpecial Certification or Training RequiredStrong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security best practicesHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization technologies.Required Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or a similar roleTechnological RequirementsProficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core IT servicesCertifications such as CCNP, MCSE, Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, or ITIL are a plusKnowledge of automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plusNetworking: Proficiency in network infrastructure management, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewallsCloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid cloud solutionsCommunication Systems: Knowledge of VoIP, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and unified communication platforms
