Senior Principal Engineer - Dry Utilities

ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Dry Utilities team you will be responsible for:Team leader of large design teams.Provide technical solutions within design teams.Preparing budget, resourcing and delivering to the budget and agreed time frame.Ultimately responsible for quality delivery.Produces design solutions from outline briefs and correctly interprets data and communicates it to othersUndertake multi Discipline project management with experience of providing full project management and lead consultant duties.Managing own workload and the workload of subordinates within a matrix management structure.Active and responsible for technical growth of subordinates.Apply Atkins Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSSE) standards and Business Management System (CMS)

EssentialQualified Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed CollegeChartered or near chartered from reputed International professional institutionsHave relevant experience in the Middle East region of around 16 to 20 years in consultancy business working on large scale Power and Dry Utilities/ Infrastructure projects.Proven tack record in delivery of largescale power projectsExperienced user of design software like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revito/ Amtech./ NavisworksKnowledge in local design codes and standards. (KSA//UAE/Middle East)Experience implementing quality standards and proceduresExperience in offshore delivery model, lead office interaction, client coordination and stake holder management.Good verbal and written communication skills.

DesirableHolds a Masters Degree in a relevant disciplineWorking as technical lead or project manager on international projectsMulti Disciplinary project delivery.Team mentoring and trainingTeam CollaborationEmotional and behavioral intelligence.
