Senior Procurement Engineer "MEP"

Manage the procurement process for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials, equipment, and subcontractors.Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements to ensure accurate procurement.Source qualified suppliers and subcontractors and maintain strong vendor relationships.Obtain, analyze, and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.Lead negotiations regarding prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.Coordinate with Technical Office, Project Management, and Site Teams to identify procurement needs and priorities.Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor database.Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving analyses, and market intelligence updates.Resolve procurement-related issues and supply chain challenges that may impact project progress.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.Minimum 6 –10 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.At least 4 years of experience in MEP procurement for large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, systems, and suppliers.Experience in procurement of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Current, and ELV systems.Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.Ability to review technical submittals, specifications, and BOQs.Strong analytical and cost-control capabilities.Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) is preferred.Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
