Senior R&D Chemist (Plastic Materials)

Develop and optimize formulations for PVC, HDPE, and PP compounds to meet performance and cost targets.Select and evaluate raw materials and additives (stabilizers, fillers, impact modifiers, lubricants).Investigate material-related issues using root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.Analyze scrap, defects, and process inefficiencies; recommend cost reduction initiatives.Prepare and maintain material specifications, datasheets, and validation reports.Support production teams in resolving processing and material performance issues.Evaluate new suppliers and alternative materials in coordination with procurement.Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ASTM / ISO).

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Science, or related field5+ years of hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing (pipes & fittings preferred)Strong experience in formulation development and compounding.Experience with recycled materials optimization and troubleshooting production issuesGood command of English.
