Senior Structural Design Reviewer & Value Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Structural Design Reviewer to join our team.

The primary focus of this role is to conduct technical audits on structural designs provided by consultants, ensuring maximum safety while implementing Value Engineering to eliminate over-design and optimize material consumption, with a strong focus on Post-Tension (PT) systems and managing technical coordination with external consultants.

Key Responsibilities:    Design Audit & Optimization: Review structural models and drawings to identify areas of over-design in concrete and steel reinforcement.

Consultant Coordination: Act as the technical point of contact to review, challenge, and approve designs submitted by external consultant offices.

Value Engineering: Propose alternative structural systems or modifications that maintain structural integrity while reducing overall project costs.

Post Tension : Evaluate and optimize Post-Tension (PT) structural designs to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and technical soundness.

Technical Compliance: Ensure all designs align with the Egyptian Code and the specific building regulations of the New Administrative Capital (ACUD).

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the architecture and MEP teams to ensure structural optimizations do not conflict with other disciplines.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Structural Department).

Experience: 6 to 8 years of solid experience in structural design and review.

Location Expertise: Proven track record of working on projects within the New Administrative Capital (ACUD)

Consultant Management: Strong personality with the ability to professionally negotiate and coordinate with top-tier consultant firms.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CSI Programs (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000), AutoCAD.

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional eye for detail with a focus on cost-effective engineering solutions.
