Senior Structural Designer

Prepare structural GA, formwork, reinforcement, and detailed construction drawings.Develop and maintain 3D structural models using BIM software.Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, civil, and MEP disciplines.Review design documents and ensure drawing accuracy before issuance.Produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings when required.Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and international design codes.Resolve drawing clashes and support multidisciplinary coordination.Assist structural engineers in preparing design documentation and quantity take-offs.Review and check the work of junior designers and provide technical guidance.Participate in design coordination meetings and respond to engineering comments.Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.7–10 years of experience as a Structural Designer.Proven experience in infrastructure and mega construction projects is mandatory.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Structure.Experience with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection is preferred.Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel detailing.Ability to interpret structural calculations and produce detailed construction drawings.Familiarity with international design codes (ACI, Eurocode, BS, etc.).Strong coordination skills with Architectural, Civil, MEP, and Site teams.Experience working with contractors or engineering consultants.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
