Senior Technical Office Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer (7+ years) to join our steel manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in any engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or equivalent) with at least 5 years in Technical Office Management within heavy industry.Based in Cairo.

AutoCAD proficiency is MANDATORY.

Key Responsibilities:Manage all technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using AutoCAD and other design software.Supervise engineering and construction projects (installations, civil works, foundations, utilities).Prepare and review technical specifications for procurement and contracts.Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.Provide technical support for maintenance, production, and scrap management.Lead and mentor the technical office team.Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO) and safety regulations.

Qualifications:Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (any discipline: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or equivalent) .Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Technical Office Management in heavy industry.

Steel plant experience is a strong advantage.Software: Advanced AutoCAD.

Proficiency in other design software (SolidWorks, Revit, ETABS, Dialux, etc.) and project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) is a strong plus.Technical Skills: Reading/interpreting mechanical, electrical, civil, and P&ID drawings.

Knowledge of ISO (9001, 14001, 45001), local regulations, ERP systems (SAP), and inventory management.Languages: Fluent Arabic & English (B2/C1).Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Other: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
