Senior technical office Engineer & Interior Designer

Senior Technical Office & Interior Design Engineer We are a growing construction and finishing firm looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Office & Interior Design Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative design and technical execution, managing everything from initial 3D concepts to final shop drawings and material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Office & Shop Drawings: Prepare, review, and modify detailed architectural and interior shop drawings (layouts, reflected ceiling plans, electrical/plumbing routing, tiling patterns, and carpentry details) using AutoCAD & Revit
• 3D Modeling & Visualization: Develop high-quality 3D interior/exterior designs, renderings, and material presentations using 3ds Max, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray.
• Quantity Surveying (QS): Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimations for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with Site Engineers to ensure that on-site execution perfectly matches the approved shop drawings and design intent.
• Material Selection & Procurement: Assist in sourcing, selecting, and reviewing finishing materials, furniture vendors to maintain design quality and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience: Minimum of 3–7 years
• 2D/Technical: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD
• 3D/Rendering: Advanced skills in 3ds Max (with V-Ray/Corona), Revit, or SketchUp.
• General: Strong command of MS Excel for BOQs and material take-offs.
• Skills: Deep understanding of finishing materials, execution details, and construction sequences.
• Excellent structural and aesthetic problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple project deadlines.
