Senior Tendering and Cost Estimation Engineer "Mep"

Lead the tendering and estimation process for MEP projects from invitation to final submission.Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.Analyze project scope and identify technical and commercial risks.Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, overhead, and profit.Conduct value engineering studies to optimize cost without compromising quality or compliance.Coordinate with Design, Technical Office, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial teams.tenderPerform bid analysis, pricing strategies, and benchmarking against previous projects.Participate in post-tender negotiations and hand over awarded projects to the execution team.Maintain and update cost databases, productivity rates, and supplier/subcontractor records.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.7–10 years of experience in MEP Tendering and Cost Estimation.Strong experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and mega projects.Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical Power, Lighting, and Low Current systems.Advanced experience in quantity take-off, BOQs, pricing, and cost analysis.Strong understanding of FIDIC and construction contracts is preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam (or similar take-off software), and Microsoft Excel.Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
