Site Accountant

Handle site petty cash and maintain accurate recordsRecord daily expenses and ensure proper supporting documentsPrepare cash requests and settlementsMonitor site cash flow and report shortages/excessesTrack project expenses against approved budgetsMonitor material, labor, and subcontractor costsHighlight cost variances and report to managementAssist in cost analysis and forecastingReview subcontractor invoices and verify quantities with site engineersPrepare payment certificates and follow up on approvalsMaintain records of supplier payments and outstanding balancesMaintain a proper filing system for all financial documentsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reportsSubmit reports to the head office finance departmentAssist in audits by providing the required documentsCoordinate with site engineers for quantities and progressLiaise with procurement and warehouse teamsCommunicate with the head office regarding financial status

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of experience (construction industry preferred)Experience in site accounting or project-based accountingStrong knowledge of accounting principlesGood understanding of construction cost structuresProficiency in Excel and accounting software Attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressure on-site
