Site Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at Places Plus, a growing architecture and interior finishing company.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising daily site operations, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor on-site work, ensuring all tasks are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, laborers, and vendors.Ensure the implementation of health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to guide execution teams.Coordinate with the design team and project managers to resolve technical or site-related issues.Monitor material deliveries and usage; ensure availability and proper storage on-site.Assist in the preparation of project schedules and resource planning.Follow up on snag lists, handovers, and project closure activities.Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams as required.Maintain proper documentation and records related to site activities, approvals, and inspections.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering, or a related field.2–7 years of proven experience in site supervision, preferably in interior finishing, fit-out, or architectural projects.Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishing details.Proficient in reading technical drawings and using AutoCAD; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with Egyptian building codes and safety regulations.
