Sr. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Plans, schedules, and executes preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical equipment and production lines.Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical breakdowns and implements timely repairs to minimize downtime.Leads, supervises, and develops a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance, training, and performance direction.Monitors equipment performance and reliability, analyzing failure trends to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.Manages spare parts inventory and coordinates with procurement to ensure critical parts availability.Ensures all maintenance activities comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO).Leads and supports equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects.Drives improvement initiatives to increase OEE, reduce maintenance costs, and eliminate recurring losses.Ensures adherence to safety standards during all maintenance work.Escalates major issues and coordinates with the Maintenance Lead and Manager on planning, resourcing, and reliability strategy.Maintains accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reports in the ERP system.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.4–7 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food, pharmaceuticals, or similar manufacturing industries.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of technicians.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and packaging/processing machinery.Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP).Proficiency in ERP systems and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
