Overview: Lead and optimize all stock and inventory management activities for our engineering and construction division, directly impacting project success and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement robust stock control strategies and procedures.Oversee daily logistics operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize overstocking.Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.Collaborate closely with procurement, project management, and site teams to forecast material needs.Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse management and material handling.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in stock management processes.Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Skills/Technologies: This role demands expertise in Stock Management, advanced Stock Control techniques, and comprehensive knowledge of Logistics.

Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP MM), strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are crucial for success.

Required Skills:Proven expertise in Stock and Stock Control management.In-depth understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.Strong background in Inventory Management, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.Demonstrated ability in Warehouse Operations and material handling best practices.Excellent Team Leadership and managerial capabilities.Proficiency in relevant inventory management software (a plus).Exceptional Problem Solving and Data Analysis skills.Superior Communication Skills and ability to collaborate across departments.Knowledge of Construction Materials and industry-specific safety regulations.Experience Requirements:A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in stock or inventory management, ideally within the Engineering, Construction, or Civil Architecture industries.Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing complex inventory systems.Career Level Expectations:This is a manager-level position, requiring a proactive leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
